April is Autism Awareness Month



Our new lobby book display reflects the fact that April is Autism Awareness Month. A variety of materials pertaining to this important topic are on display, including The New York Times bestsellers In a Different Key: The Story of Autism, by John Donvan and Caren Zucker; NeuroTribes: The Legacy of Autism and the Future of Neurodiversity, by Steve Silberman; Far From the Tree: Parents, Children and the Search for Identity, by Andrew Solomon; and The Reason I Jump: the Inner Voice of a Thirteen-Year-Old Boy with Autism, by Naoki Higashida. Fiction selections include No Book But the World, by Leah Hager Cohen; and the highly-acclaimed Marcelo in the Real World, by Francisco X. Stork.
