Halloween is the perfect time to read (or re-read!) a classic horror story – or to give ourselves some goosebumps
by discovering a new author or a recent frightening tale. In the spirit of the season,
our latest book display includes some of our favorite horror fiction, including Dracula, by Bram Stoker; Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, by Robert Louis
Stevenson; Rebecca, by Daphne du Maurier;
Turn of the Screw, by Henry James, and
fiction by Edgar Allen Poe. Books by more contemporary authors include various titles
by Stephen King; The Darkest Evening of
the Year, by Dean Koontz; and The
Well, by Catherine Chanter.
