E-Books Just for our Patrons

To avoid the long wait lists for some of the popular e-books, the Riverdale Public Library has purchased copies just for our patrons. To date, Riverdale patrons have access to:

  Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn

  The Dinner by Herman Koch

  The Twelve Tribes of Hattie by Ayana Mathis

  A Week in Winter by Maeve Binchey

April is Poetry Month - Special Music Program to Celebrate

Music and Poetry - Celebrate National Poetry month with guitarist Robert Graham, who will sing and play to the lyrics of the world's most famous poems.

Upcoming Author Visits

Walter Choroszewski will present a photographic journey through the beautiful public gardens of New Jersey with  The Garden State in Bloom on Saturday, May 4, from 11 a.m. to noon.

E-Books for Riverdale residents

DigitalNJLibrary is our connection for e-book borrowing through the library system. Some wait lists for popular titles can discourage borrowers, so in response, the Riverdale Public Library is purchasing e-books that are only available to our residents. They are available through DigitalLibraryNJ, just like any other library e-book. Make sure you login with your card, and then search the collection. You will see a symbol  on the book jacket, indicating our library has purchased additional copies for our patrons.
